2017 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mts, Glen Canyon Vineyard – $50 Entirely from the Pommard Clone, somewhat uncommon in CA. Ruby red color with intense berry-cherry aromas. Other flavors include cranberry and spice. Ready to drink now.
2016 Zinfandel, Fiddletown, Rinaldi Family Vineyard – $24 Classic big style Zin, powerful structure of berry and jam, symphony of sustained flavors. Good alone and wonderful with full-bodied foods and also Pizza packed with meats!
2014 Syrah, Monterey, Prosperity Grape Field – $24 Intense in color and berry fruit. A big style. great for BBQ fare. Note, this “berry bowl” is ready to accompany grilled lamb chops, marinated in rosemary & garlic olive oil.
